sanctuary will be of great help and immensely appreciated.
We try our absolute best to make use of
every single donation in the most responsible, accountable and careful way, and
no donation is misplaced or misused for anyone’s needs except for the
necessities and welfare of our dogs. Yet, we do understand that there may be
people who are sceptic about making monetary donations. For this reason, we
would like to encourage those of you reluctant to make a monetary donation, to
consider making a donation in the form of gift vouchers redeemable from pet shops,
animal pharmacies, or pet suppliers of your choice.

Kennel wanting to give a helping hand yet not knowing how. For those who cannot
volunteer or adopt a dog due to time constraints we have found a solution. You
could sponsor a dog for just €5 a month!
ADOPT
A DOG
Anyone wishing to adopt a dog can contact
us through our blog, Facebook Page, Email Address, by giving us a call, or just
by turning up at the sanctuary. If you are interested in adopting, get in touch
with us. You will simply be asked to fill in a form, and leave the rest to us!
We will make sure to match you with a dog compatible with your needs and those
of your household.

The team at St. Rocco’s Kennel is
extremely proud of the fact that all kinds of dogs are taken in, regardless of
their age, size or state of health. However, when an exceptionally vulnerable
pooch shows up at our doorstep, a number of challenges arise as to where to
keep this dog until it gets out of this helpless stage.
Such vulnerable dogs include puppies who
have been separated from their mother as well as dogs which have just had a
traumatic experience or are recovering from an injury.
In such a case, we look for helpers who
are able to take these pooches in for a few weeks until a suitable and loving
home is found.
BECOME
A VOLUNTEER
St. Rocco’s Kennel is in constant need of extra pairs of
helping hands. Anyone wishing to become a volunteer can do so through the
following ways:
HELPING OUT WITH GENERAL MAINTENANCE AT
THE KENNEL
All volunteers are provided with the
clothing required to carry out this job. This is a very rewarding experience
and would mean the world to our dogs and to the rest of the team at St. Rocco’s
Kennel!
ASSIST WITH INTERVIEWS
TAKING OUR DOGS ON WALKS
St. Rocco’s Kennel has a large area where
its dogs can run around. Nonetheless, these fluffy friends would still want to
go on walks and get to enjoy the outdoors. Since there are only a limited
number of volunteers, taking dogs on walks is hardly ever possible.
For this reason, you could help out by
contributing just an hour of your time! Gather a group of friends, come
together with your family or perhaps even by yourself and simply take one of
our pooches out for a walk. It wouldn't take much or your time, but it
would mean the world to that dog who gets to feel free and receive some
individual attention!

the place up and running. Anyone wishing to volunteer could help us out! We
constantly need people to help us feed the dogs, wash them, clean the areas
where the dogs sleep or spend the day, etc.
